Importing Existing Student Data
If your school is moving from paper records or another system, you don't need to re-type every student manually. Go to Students → Import and download the CSV template, which lists the columns EduMawu expects (name, date of birth, class, guardian contact, and so on).
Fill in the template with your existing records and upload it. EduMawu will validate the file and show you a preview of what will be imported, including any rows with errors, before anything is saved. This gives you a chance to fix issues like duplicate admission numbers or missing required fields before committing the import.
