Building a Timetable

Build a timetable by assigning lessons — a teacher and subject paired with a class — into periods across the week, viewing the grid by Time, by Class, or by Teacher depending on what you're trying to check. Each lesson tracks how many periods a week it still needs, so you can see at a glance what's left to schedule.

Every assignment is checked before it's accepted: EduMawu blocks a teacher or room being double-booked, stops a class from being scheduled into a break, catches the same lesson being placed twice in one day, and enforces a teacher's maximum periods per day and per week — so conflicts get caught while you're building the timetable, not after it's published. An auto-generate option can fill a first draft for you to refine, and once a slot is right you can lock it so it can't be accidentally moved.

Because building a timetable is rarely a one-pass job, EduMawu lets you save a version as you go and roll back to it later — so trying a different layout is never a one-way decision.
